My Transformers Chess Set

Put in miscellaneous because I was unsure.

Anyhow, I commented on my TF Chess Set, which was broken in with a very intense game on new year's eve. And... , I think it was, expressed amusement. XD

What REALLY gets me about the set is mainly that all the pawns are basically Autobot and Decepticon sigils. XD

On the Autbot side, here's the lineup:
King: Optimus Prime
Queen: Ironhide
Bishops: Jazz
Knights: Bumblebee
Rooks: Ratchet

And on the Decepticon side:
King: Megatron
Queen: Starscream (SO much more appropriate a choice than Ironhide)
Bishops: Barricade
Knights: Blackout (who I will continue to insist is female)
Rooks: Bonecrusher (does not like chess.)

Now, I was pretty happy with the Decepticon lineup, but I had a couple issues with the Autobot side. For one, Jazz was, at least in the novelization, EXPLICITELY the second in command, which would have made him queen. For another, I always thought of the Rook as the Big Bruiser, which goes well with my mental image of Movie Ironhide where Ratchet has slightly more finesse.

Just personal opinion. XD

Finally: IT'S QUEEN STARSCREAM! Where's his crown?! (giddy giggles)
