GDG Drawing Tips: The Back by Golden-Dragon-Girl GDG Drawing Tips: The Back by Golden-Dragon-Girl
Is it just me, or does V6 allow for even fewer letters in the big huge title bar than V5 did? Sure felt that way when I was trying to title this.

Anyhow, yeah, it's been a while. I've been struggling to push myself to do things and not been doing too well. Raar.

Forgive me for this is disorganized. XD

(Also, this sat there for like, evar, and I was like, darnit I have other things to upload, so I opened another submission page and it was loaded on that one instead. Curse you, DA.)

I know I wanted to request for a tutorial... just forgot ._.''' Oh well when I remember I shall ask... REMEMBERED! 0.0 that was fast.
Anyway... could you create a tutorial for how to draw a tree... I know it's a lame request, but I know someone who could use one but cannot find any tutorial on how to draw a tree ^^; Mind helping me out a bit? Pretty please with sugar and cherry on top.

O_o I don't know if I'm the person to ask, but I guess my trees aren't AWFUL or anything so I'll see what I can do. ^^;

Hmm... I had a totally different way to do braids than that. I'd start at the top, and work my way down, making a \ and a / in places, and turns out to look similar to the finished product you have. But, I did all of that in eighth grade and now that I'm drawing Ed - who wears his hair in a braid most of the time - I've found that I have trouble getting the pattern started. ^_^" (that, and I never really learned how to do braides from the side... >_>" )
Here's something kind'a interesting... Most of the braids I see look like Y's or V's right? I've always braided my hair in the opposite direction... (and didn't notice until recently) So, my hair looks like A's, or upside down Y's or V's. (if I twist my braid around to the back side, it's the Y/V way - so, one side of a braid always looks like Y/V's, and the opposite side like A's.

oh, also, ever try braiding your hair with more than three pieces? I like how an eight-piece braid looks... it's similar, only the V's are wider and thinner.

I should say something about drawing backs. >_<
The shoulder blades looking like the front thing is kind'a interesting...

XD No, I haven't, but no matter how you braid, drawing the clumps in first and then adding the design is a lot easier than doing it from top to bottom. Makes it easier to direct the way the hair falls, too. Try it next you draw Ed, see if it works for you.
